Driving instructor course run by police officers

The latest research has shown that the quality of driving licence courses is gradually dropping. Thats because its turned out to be incredibly easy to become a driving instructor nowadays. The requirements that the candidates for driving instructors have to fulfil are not an elevated ones. They just need to present a medical certificate and a driving licence obtained at least three years earlier. The exam they have to pass is also quite easy. This situation results in the lack of knowledge and wrong education of young drivers. Thats why the General Police Headquarters of Poland has decided to organise a driving instructor course run by qualified police officers. The lecturers are experienced traffic police commanders who run both theoretical and practical classes. They are familiar with all types of road incidents and have a considerable knowledge of traffic regulations. They use a great deal of authentic videos and documentation from their professional activity. The idea for the police to organise a driving instructor courses proved to be very successful as there were four applicants for one place. The police is has just started the next intake for the course that is going to begin in September.
